What’s going to happen

Download and play only what you see

Current 360 video workflows download and play all of the pixels at once, even though humans can’t see 360 degrees.

NeuroCast solves this through the adaptive viewport grid system. The video is fragmented and only the parts being watched are concurrently downloaded and played back.

This can provide a major boost to both viewer QoE and audience capacity, practically enabling HQ 360 video playback for consumers in terms of bandwidth and CPU.

Multiple Transport Technologies
NeuroCast provides support for multiple delivery technologies at a per stream or per grid fragment definition level. This means that the same clients can e.g. download audio via HTTP servers from different CDNs and, at the same time, download video streams via a mix of WebRTC (Server to Client UDP), P2P (client to client UDP) and HTTP or QUIC.
3x Quality
NeuroCast triples your capacity, so there is nothing stopping you from serving real HQ 360 content without resorting to compromising quality and availability. Provide your viewers with an unforgettable, immersive experience. Be ready for the future, being able to serve 360 video to large audiences without having to upgrade your hardware stack.
